1. Hey Folks!

I hope you are all well, I know times like these have been very hectic for everyone on a global scale and ongoing responsibilities.

You have done a wonderful job at creating great stories here at the Expanse RP, and as we close a second year, the Expanse staff wanted to announce that we will be closing the board for ongoing roleplay. This genre is niche, and we knew that from the get-go as a forum post-by-post play. We came in as Firehawk fans and really enjoyed creating stories together.

As such, we will provide access to the roleplay if you would like to save your roleplay for the next two months. While you may not be able to create new posts, you can still access it.

We wish you the best and enjoy seeing the new opportunities that will arise from this. We know there are active discord roleplay opportunities as well as the table-top discord community for The Expanse. They are welcoming communities filled with amazing people and supportive staff!

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us.

    Best Regards!

CERES Loose Ends

  1. Bodhi Xin

    Character Biography:
Bodhi pointed at Loske. "Ya, dat. Yuh show dis to anyone, if da wrong people find out dey try and work out how it got back to Ceres, sasa ke?"

His expression darkened at Lukas question. In its own right that was an answer. Bodhi didn't say anything for a few seconds. He ran his tongue across the inside of one cheek. It still made him deeply uncomfortable to think back on what he had seen.

"Yeah. No one coming back from Eros. No one."

  2. Loske Matson

    Character Biography:
    Colour drained from her face.

Videos. Surveillance. No escape. This all sounded remarkably similar to the scientist who was trying to escape Phoebe before it had been turned to dust.

She took this cue, and leapt. Almost frantically, like a true little rookie.

"In the videos, did you see any logos other than what was on this Star Helix riot gear? Insignias that you've seen before, or you can describe? You don't have to see a sketch artist..you can just tell us.."

  3. Lukas Forgrave

Lukas Forgrave Scourge of the Water Pipes

    Character Biography:
He chewed on that answer a bit, not liking the sound of it. There had been rumors floating around about what was happening on that asteroid. From people talking in circles on street corners like gaggles of hens to galactic disk jockeys reverbing cosmic ambiance around Eros into thick beltalowda beats. Eros was the thing that was forgotten and on everyone's mind.

When Loske jumped at the chance to engage, Luka smiled a bit more than he should have. His expression shifted, gaze moving from the young detective to the OPA man. Opaman, even fit well in belter creole.

He gestured a flat hand towards @Loske Matson, a defeated smile aimed it's cross-hairs at @Bodhi Xin. "Anything besides CPM, of course." It was a guess, but an educated one.

Luka had worked, for a time, back and forth between Ceres and Tycho. The CPM corporation had been bidding, with some success, as a security force that would serve to supplement Helix on Eros - that sort of news makes it's rounds. But a thug was a thug, no matter how many letter or formal titles they put in front of him. Luka had known a good deal of bad apples that had shipped off to serve the bunch and whatever goodness they recruited into it, it'd be decanted within the month.

He hoped that wouldn't happen to Loske. She seemed to have a resilience to her but at the end of the day, no one escaped the cold. It was just a matter of time.

  4. Bodhi Xin

    Character Biography:
Bodhi made a little hum as he mused on how to word his reply. He had to be very, very careful with how he worded his reply. His expression had already given away the answer to Lukas' question. Tricksy investigators.

"Dis," he said, pointing towards the armour. "Dis is ah courtesy. Letting yuh know da armour is not gonna be found here on Sirish no more. I like yuh," he grinned at Lukas.

"Na wanya go looking any further into dis Helix. Da criminals wearing dis stuff. Dey na coming back. Da ones behind it. Dry na coming to Sirish fo question time."
